Amped-Up started when our founder, Troy Ryan, a high school entrepreneur with a builder’s mindset, tried a popular pre-workout and immediately knew something was wrong. It tasted awful, felt synthetic, and didn’t deliver. So he did what he’s always done: learned everything he could, ran small experiments, and built a better solution from scratch. Using his grandmother’s retired lab glassware, he spent weeks testing ingredients and refining the formula until it worked—and tasted amazing. Friends tried it, loved it, and started asking for more. That’s when Amped-Up was born. What began as a DIY project has grown into a full-scale operation.
